Privacy Policy

This policy covers julienika.cz and the tools published on its subdomains (addresses ending in .svc.julienika.cz). It explains what data is processed, by whom, and what rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

The site is operated by an independent developer based in the Czech Republic. For any privacy question, or to exercise any of the rights below, write to info@julienika.cz.

The short version

This site has no accounts, no login, no newsletter, no contact form and no analytics of its own. It does not ask you for personal data, and the tools do not store what you type into them. The one significant exception is advertising: Google AdSense serves the ads and sets its own cookies, and that processing is Google's rather than this site's.

What this site collects

Nothing you type into a tool. The calculators work in your browser. Values you enter — recipe weights, tank dimensions, measurements — are not transmitted to or stored on the server. Several tools that handle files, including the image and document utilities, process those files entirely inside your browser: the file itself never leaves your device.

Server logs. The web server records standard technical information for each request: IP address, the time, the page requested, the referring page, and your browser's user-agent string. These logs exist to keep the site running and to investigate abuse and errors. The lawful basis is legitimate interest in operating a secure service. They are kept for a short period and are not used to build any profile of you.

No cookies are set by this site itself for tracking. Where a tool remembers a preference, it does so in your browser's local storage, which stays on your device.

Advertising: Google AdSense

The site carries advertising through Google AdSense. To serve those ads, Google and its partners may set cookies or read device identifiers, and may process data including your IP address, the pages you view, and interactions with ads. This is used to select ads, measure performance and limit repetition.

Depending on your settings and location, Google may serve personalised advertising, which involves profiling based on your activity across sites, or non-personalised advertising, which uses contextual signals and coarse location only. Google acts as an independent controller for this processing, under its own terms — so the detail of what it collects and how long it keeps it is governed by Google's policies, not this site's.

If you are in the EEA or UK, a consent notice appears before personalised advertising cookies are used, and your choice can be changed at any time through that notice.

Email

If you write to info@julienika.cz, your message and address are used to answer you and for nothing else. They are not added to any mailing list and are not shared. Correspondence is kept only as long as it is useful for the matter you raised.

Sharing

No personal data is sold, rented or shared for marketing. The only third party processing data through this site is Google, for the advertising described above. The site is hosted on a virtual server in the EU, and the hosting provider processes server logs as part of running it.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your personal data, correction of it, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Because this site holds so little — in most cases only server log entries, which are not linked to a name — a request will usually be answered by explaining exactly what exists.

For the advertising data Google holds, requests go to Google directly, using the links above. You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority; in the Czech Republic that is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů, https://www.uoou.cz).

Children

This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than made silently.
